So I just got back a bunch of film from being developed from random trips and shoots last year. And I tell you what - there is something about the color in film that still can’t be matched in digital.

Hey, so last summer I shot a bunch of stuff for Jenny Dalton a local singer-songwriter and we got tons of great photos (I’ll catch-up with my photos at some point…), but I just got about 20 rolls of film back from being developed and freaked out. I love it. What do you think?

One of my former lives… (The text is hard to read, but it’s a few days schedules from when I use to work in the U.S. Senate)

Recently someone I know sent me an ‘assignment’ from their photo club…. It needed to include the colors red, blue, and yellow as individual shots. And a self-portrait… I combined mine and did this… Once upon a time I use to work in the the Senate in Washington D.C. - it was intense and I learned a lot. But, although, I love to think about politics I think it’s best I no longer work in it…. it was too emotionally draining for me. Or I guess I mean… Bush ruined America.

Here are some behind the scenes shots I took for a band called - A Farewell Rescue who are on Snapdragon Records. Local superstar music video director Justin Staggs and dopetastic producer Shane Nelson made yet another stellar video. You can check it out on Justin’s site here. As you can see they built a really long dolly track and had a good sized crew on hand to make this one rock your panties off. Word.

Last fall I got a chance to follow the Red Bull Wingers around town for a few days and shoot them at the MN Thunder home opener game against the LA Galaxy. The night before the game we all went to a private party held in David Beckham’s honor hosted in part by Metro Magazine. If you don’t know David Beckham then you don’t know soccer…. He’s the arguably the most famous soccer player in the world and signed one of the biggest contracts in MLS history. Oh, and some people say he’s got a hot wife… who also happens to be famous…

But, whatever, back to the Wingers - The boys made the rounds at a number of local bars to put on a show of their tricks - you could say they are like the Harlem Globetrotters of soccer. During the game they performed for the half-time show. These guys were lots of fun and we all had a good time meeting some new ladies in town…. right guys….

Here is a little video clip one of the guys uploaded to youtube from his phone before the game… do you see me? And Beckham.
