Take The Big Risk
Things have been a little crazy for me for the last few weeks…. working like mad. This is good, this is moving me forward. I’ve got a high bar set for myself on a fast time line, with much to be done in the near future. I made this postcard for myself a few years ago to remind me where I stand - to always be pushing myself forward. Within the next 2 months I’m going to be taking some serious financial risks. I have to keep the faith that my choices are the right one.
Unite Bike 2008
Yo! So a few months ago I was contacted to shoot a large group photo for the local hip-hop community by 2 different groups of people at the same time. I got really excited about this idea and started to think about how this could really be done. I put some effort into organizing this and in the end it didn’t end up working out because in reality the various labels/groups in town really don’t get along… which is stupid. But, I really liked the idea of doing a group photo so thought I would focus my attention on a group of people I actually respect. I decided to organize an open group photo for the local bike commuter community. I asked a local web-design firm to do the design and a site for this event and I’m working hard at promoting it now.
